As part of our Live Your Calling series, our small groups are reading the What On Earth Am I Here For? book and learning about the five purposes for each of our lives. In week three, we're learning how we are Called to Belong. And part of belonging to a church family includes serving together. 

Here are some great ways for your small group to serve others in need:

 

GOOD NEIGHBOR CORONA 

Join us for a Community Block Party.  Help us to get to know a great community in the City of Corona.  It will be a fun day of spending time with families and loving on the community.

GOOD NEIGHBOR IRVINE

GOOD NEIGHBOR LAKE FOREST

Do you like meeting people’s physical needs through tasks like painting, yard work, and home repairs? Do you enjoy playing with kids? Do you like spending time with seniors? No matter what your SHAPE is, we have ways for you and your small group to be involved. Come serve some of our neighbors right here in Lake Forest.

GOOD NEIGHBOR LAGUNA HILLS

Join us to help welcome the residents of Aliso Meadows as they begin the 6 week study “What on Earth Am I Here For?”  No need to lead the group and no need to speak Spanish.  You can serve with hospitality and your happy smiling face!

GOOD NEIGHBOR LAGUNA HILLS

Celebration time in Aliso Meadows, Saturday, March 16th 11:00-1:30 pm!  We are celebrating the residents who completed the small group study “What on Earth Am I Here For?”  This is a party complete with potluck lunch, games for the kids and great fellowship with the residents of Aliso Meadows.  Serve with your small group and kids are welcome!  Contact Bonnie at bonniet@saddleback.com for more information.

GOOD NEIGHBOR SAN CLEMENTE

Fun on the Run Truck with the City of San Clemente.  Come join us in Good Neighbor San Clemente every  Thursday from 2:00-4:00PM.  We play soccer, scooters, kick ball, board games and more with the neighborhood kids!  This is a great small group and family serving opportunity AND a great way to make friends with our Vista Los Mares neighbors!

GOOD NEIGHBOR SAN CLEMENTE COMMUNITY GARDEN

Do you have a green thumb?  Come join us in our BEAUTIFUL community garden.  We need volunteers to water, prune, rake, and harvest.  Come and see how this amazing outreach serves the whole community!!  Small group and family friendly!

GOOD NEIGHBOR SAN CLEMENTE CLEAN UP

Good Neighbor San Clemente Neighborhood Clean-up - Saturday March 9th From 9:00am-12:00pm

Come join us for a community clean-up at Good Neighbor- San Clemente in the Vista Los Mares community.  We will assist residents in removing large items and help with a general SPRING CLEANING!  Bring the kiddos…there will be a prize for the one who collects the most trash.  The city is supplying dumpsters, we will bring willing hands to help.  Can’t move big furniture and old TV’s?  That’s ok!  Man our hospitality booth, pass out doughnuts, meet residents, and make friends.

SADDLEBACK CHURCH FOOD DRIVE

Did you know that Saddleback Church helps 200 struggling families get back on their feet every week by giving them free food? This is accomplished by the generosity of members like you and has been instrumental in over 1500 people coming to Christ. Plan a shopping trip with your small group then bring the food to one of our blue barrels on the patio at your campus.

THE PEACE GARDEN LAKE FOREST

Help grow organic vegetables and fruits in a raised bed garden located in front of the PEACE Center. The produce is given to families in need through the Food Pantry.  We welcome your help in tending the garden by planting, watering, pruning and harvesting the produce.

BREAKFAST TOGETHER

MILITARY OUTREACH-ACTS OF APPRECIATION

Help produce newborn baby baskets, goody bags to troops of many different branches of the military deployed around the globe. We also host functions such as deployment and welcome home events at Camp Pendleton, sponsor retreats and seek to form interpersonal relationships with troops and their families and much, much more.

BEAUTIFY SADDLEBACK LAKE FOREST

A serving opportunity for all ages with a servant heart! Please join us in using your gifts to beautify Saddleback Lake Forest on a Saturday or weekday.....We Are Better Together! BREAKING BREAD IN FULLERTON

Share your time and love with others less fortunate by providing a hot lunch, and help them know Jesus in a personal way.  Most are homeless, and come in for a place to relax, feel safe, and have a hot meal.  All that is needed is a heart for listening, sharing, and praying with those who visit.
