I am excited to share with Christian parents this wonderful educational opportunity for their children. We at IQ Academy are a tuition free, online independence school, providing students a world-class K-12 education. I believe our program is geared toward parents who are seeking an alternative to public schools. As a Christian, I earnestly desire to share this information with fellow Christians. Horizon Cross Cultural Center offers an important socialization program called ReCONNECT. This program (funded by the County of Orange) provides opportunities for isolated older adults to reintegrate back into the community by incorporating healthy and meaningful activities into their lives. The services are provided at no charge to the participant. When a person has a life changing event (loss of spouse, for example) they may stop attending services and church sponsored events. Our purpose is to reach out to the community and provide these older adults with in-home assessments, case management, socialization activity plans, and support. Pivot Charter School offers an amazing opportunity for families looking for something different in education. We offer free, fully WASC accredited, 6th-12th grade education for students in San Diego, Riverside, Orange, and Imperial counties. All of the curriculum is online with teachers available 24/5. Students can do their school work from home or come into the school site. Because everything is online, students have the flexibility to work where they want, when they want. This is ideal for students who want to get ahead or catch up since it is individually paced. It is also great for students who are ill and can't go into the classroom daily. Check out the website or call the school if you have any questions! www.PivotSanDiego.com 760-591-0217.
