ABOUT NICK
Nick Vujicic was born in Brisbane, Australia in 1982 without limbs. Doctors could not medically explain why he had no arms or legs, and his parents dealt with the shock and grief of a newborn baby who was not what they would consider 'perfect or normal.'
As Vujicic grew into adolescence, he dealt with depression and loneliness, questioning why he was born without limbs and what purpose his life could possibly serve. "According to Nick, the victory over his struggles throughout his journey, as well as the strength and passion he has for life can be credited to his faith in God. His family, friends and the many people he has encountered along the way have also encouraged him."
Today, Vujicic travels the world as a motivational speaker who has shared his faith and his story with millions of people. He is also the founder of Life Without Limbs, a non-profit that teaches men, women, and children about their significance and purpose through Vujicic's story.
