Late last night saw the nation of Japan suffer the fifth largest earthquake in history. A magnitude 8.9 earthquake hit near the east coast of Honshu, and the catastrophic damage and loss of life has been staggering. The people of Japan need care and relief more than ever!

PEACE in the storm…

Saddleback Church PEACE RELIEF is a ministry of men and women who have been trained in disaster relief and chaplaincy. The PEACE RELIEF Team from our church has responded with compassion and support in the wake of hurricanes, cyclones, tsunami, firestorms, bombings, political upheaval, tribal clashes, tornados, drought, famine, and earthquakes.

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen
Ephesinas 3:20-21 (NLT)

Dear Saddleback family, I am donating 100% of all proceeds from my new website to Saddleback's Japan earthquake peace relief effort. churchskinny.com's mission is to be a resource for the body of Christ, a family-friendly classifieds alternative to other sites where offensive material is often present. 30 day ads are always free, but if you choose to pay for an extended ad option, all funds will go to this cause. Post an ad for your business, roommate, event, or post something for sale. Thank you for your support of churchskinny.com and the devastated people of Japan.

We are PRAYING. We are GIVING:This Sunday we will take a special offering for Japan and forwarding it on to Saddleback. Many have asked about GOING! I have nearly 13 years experience as a Road Chaplain, dealing with all manner of trama. Several in my church have asked how to GO. Can we team up with you, once we've taken the training?

I believe in prayer as well as in humanity. Still I wonder: do you serve both Christians and non-christians equally?

p.s. - how do you ensure sensitivity to the beliefs of the majority Buddhist population in Japan?
