Hello Saddleback Church Laguna Woods,

Saturday is a big day for us to contribute to the needs of the church around the world. In celebration of International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (Nov. 13), we are helping Open Doors (the leading ministry in this field in the world) put together Remembrance Bracelets. They are distributing over 100,000 of these bracelets and we will be doing 1000s.

I feel so strongly about the terrible things our church brethren are enduring for their faith. I have met many myself most recently on my PEACE trip to Kazakhstan. If you have the time, this is an excellent Open Doors video that will give you some amazing insight into a song you have sung many times. So, Saturday,  Clubhouse 5, room 1, 9 a.m. will be a great opportunity to support our persecuted brothers and sisters. I hope you can be there to help. Snacks, coffee, and fellowship will be served!
