PEACE Relief

Purpose Statement

To enable and prepare the body of Christ at a personal, local and global level to serve God by assisting others in a time of need or disaster. To comfort the hurting, give hope to the hopeless and to move the people from relief to development with care and compassion using the Purpose Driven continuum of the PEACE Plan.

We provide disaster relief to people who have just suffered a natural disaster - typhoon, tsunami, earthquake, flood, fire, etc. The assistance might be to provide food & supplies, spiritual care, assistance in clearing out property, and sometimes rebuilding.

We also care for those around the world who need relief from ongoing disasters like drought or those who are displaced from their homes in refugee camps, etc.

Below, you'll find three ways you can join us in our mission to care for those that need it most.

Prayer is the most powerful tool we can use right now to help the PEACE

Relief efforts for natural disaster survivors. Here are a few things you can pray.

  1. Pray for God to bring good out of tragedy.
  2. Pray for the safe and quick rescue of those who are stranded or need medical attention.
  3. Pray for those who have lost everything, that they would be comforted by others with God's love.
  4. Pray for the devastated churches.

Your financial gift will go toward strengthening a network of churches throughout the affected areas. These churches, along with Saddleback Church volunteers, will begin the long process towards healing and hope

Go and work alongside partner churches to serve families displaced and affected by these natural disasters. If you're ready to go, the first step is to attend a PEACE Relief Info Meeting. For times at your campus or nearby locations, email
