PEACE Trips for Saddleback Singles
09/22/2016 .One of our five Daring Faith Goals is to help take the Good News to the last 3,000 unreached tribes—the “Final Frontier Project” of our global PEACE Plan. In an effort to mobilize our members for global PEACE, the Lake Forest campus hosted Made for a Mission Expo.
Held at the Refinery Gym on September 20, the interactive training specifically catered toward Saddleback singles looking for opportunities to globally reach communities for Christ.
The two-hour event was a time of connection and prayer, as the PEACE Team revealed five new, unique Global PEACE trip opportunities designed for the singles community. After meeting trip leaders, attendees heard a word from our Global PEACE Leadership Team on ways to serve through missions.
Nearly 50 people attended the gathering, connecting with one another and with PEACE community leaders. Among the planned PEACE trips for singles are five destinations including Berlin, Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, South Manila, and Rwanda.
“We heard a little from each location leadership team, and then spent some time in prayer and connection,” says Lauren Keck, 401 Missions Team Associate.
For those who want to get involved with other trip opportunities, the PEACE team is hosting PEACE Practical on October 16 and CLASS 401 on October 2—a great way build a solid foundation for missions.
