Refreshing!

I have listened for well over two years, Pastor Rick’s sermon “tones” has allowed my “trust” that God does & will ( though most of the time it’s in his timing not mine ) answer prayers to grow & mature. These sermons have given me a better understanding of what trust is — and using the book of James throughout the Pandemic ( for what 39 sermons ) was most enlightening as to how to live our/my life . . . even with the issues which we have been & continue to be faced with. “Trust” is a difficult concept to put your arms around let alone totally embrace when evolving God — something you “feel” and can’t touch physically. Pastor Rick takes God’s Word and makes applicable each week to life. MDH

Love Saddleback

I’ve yet to find a church like Saddleback!! We were members when we lived in Cali and are still looking for a home church in our new state, but during the pandemic.... we returned to listening to Pastor Rick and his words are the teachings we needed to hear. It’s like he’s speaking to us directly. Thank you Pastor for serving our Lord God so faithfully.

Miss you Rick

When I moved to the OC. I was trying to find a great church. Some at work told me about saddleback. I got dressed up in my Sunday best. When I arrived. I scratched my head. Because I saw a very big tent in front of me. So I walked up to that tent. And they welcomed me. Like I was family. Oh by the way it was raining that day, So I went inside. And sat in a folding chair. The music started. I couldn’t help but stand up with everyone and sing my heart out. I must apologize to the people around me on that day. Then Rick comes up and Greats us all. I’m thinking to myself. What in the world. That guy is in a Hawaiian shirt 😀. The started tell us about Jesus in such a different way. That I understood every word he said. He touched me so much . That I was in tears. You must know I will cry about everything. These tears where for the peace I felt in my heart. Because Jesus brought me to saddleback. And I was so great full. So a year or so. They had their church. What a church it is. So beautiful. And then we moved out of state. I was lost without Saddleback. Back then we didn’t have on line church. Then years later . I did divorce my husband. I moved back to my home town. You won’t believe this. But Jesus sent me to cottonwood. They where in a tent too. So I thought, this is a sign. I’ve been going there ever since. I love baileys and his family. I have become both my parents caregiver for a few years now. So I must stay home. To care for them. So all my activities had stopped. I miss church so much. Then covid happened. Now I try my best to watch in line. But it’s not the same, my last word is. I’m so truly blessed . The Lord has sent to two of the most wonderful churches I’ve ever been too. By the way I now dress down for church 💒🙏😄
