$0 $0What are HSM Small Groups?$0 HSM Small-Groups are small groups just for our students! Meet weekly with a small group of other students (same gender) and an adult Small-Group leader. It is a time filled with Bible study, prayer, fellowship, accountability, and fun! $0$0 $0When and where do we meet?$0 HSM Small-Groups meet in host homes once a week during the school year (October - June). The time and day the group meets is determined by what works best for the particular group. By meeting in homes, we make SSM Irvine seem a little smaller and more personal.$0 $0What will we be studying?$0 Being involved in a HSM Small-Group will be an awesome time to grow closer to God. What better way to do that than by connecting with other students, readying and studying the Bible? Topics include: salvation, prayer, following God, making good decisions, studying the Bible, dealing with temptation, and more.$0 $0What does a Typical HSM Small-Group night look like?$0 Each group has its own flavor, but a typical night at your HSM Small-Group home will look something like this: welcome/hang-out time, game/ice-breaker, Bible study/discussion, prayer time, snack/hang-out time.$0

Join the Women's Ministry on Mondays at 7pm or Fridays at 9:30am for a time of fellowship with other women. They will begin a study of Esther by Beth Moore during the week of January 11, 2010. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened or pushed into situations that seemed overwhelming, this is the study for you.

�**Attention! Last class to be held at our campus before Easter!

Children's Pre-Baptism class is for our 3rd through 6th grade elementary age children who have recently accepted Christ as their Savior.� This class is a prerequisite for children who wish to be baptized at Saddleback Church.

�We will discuss salvation, baptism and how children can begin to grow in their Christian walk.� After the class your child will receive a personal interview with a member of our All STARS leadership team. �To make the class as beneficial as possible, we require at least one parent attend with their child.

No pre-registration is required.

�Class is held in Room 916 at the Irvine campus ( Northwood High School)

God created you with a purpose. That personal, yet church-wide purpose, means connecting flawed human beings with our perfect and eternal God.

Your own story of how God has worked in your life is one of the most effective tools you have for connecting people to God. In CLASS 401, you'll learn to communicate that story to your neighborhood, workplace and around the world.

By using your own gifts, personality and story, you'll touch people only you can touch. Your life experiences can be a bridge to a friend or family member who is seeking Christ.

God's global plan includes reaching people from every nation with the good news of Jesus. In CLASS 401, you'll get a picture of what God is doing throughout the world to bring His people to Himself. You'll also find out how you can be part of His global plan.

Finally, we'll share with you 15 opportunities for you to get started in sharing your faith immediately. At the end of CLASS 401, you can pray about joining Saddleback on the greatest adventure of your life.

At our Child Dedication service, parents commit to raise their child to know Jesus Christ for the glory of God.

Before parents may register for a Child Dedication Service, they need to attend just one Child Dedication Class. Registration is required for the class at the Irvine Campus.

CLASS 101 is our basic introduction to our church family and is designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. The CLASS is broken down into four sessions covering Our Salvation, Our Statements, Our Strategy and Our Structure. You will hear about our history, learn how the 5 purposes are necessary in order to fulfill God's purpose for your life and hear about the plans for the future of Saddleback. At the end of CLASS you will be able to decide whether to complete the membership process by filling out and signing the application or to wait until another time.

God did not design ministry for just a few with seminary degrees. At Saddleback, we believe that every member of our church is a minister. During 301 you will learn how God can use your Spiritual Gifts, your Heart (passions), your Abilities, your Personality and your Experiences to minister to the needs of others. When you chose to follow Christ, you were given special abilities, known as Spiritual Gifts. God gave you these gifts for you to use to build up His Church. God also gave you passion for particular activities and subject. Having the heart for specific things, people or circumstances is to be used to guide us into a ministry that we really care about. In 301, you will be shown how to assess your abilities, gifts and passions to see where in ministry you will love to serve.
