Kevin's Story

I have 12 grandchildren, and a great-grandson and I thought I was too old to serve with junior high and high school students. My first experience with SSM was serving during last year’s Winter Camp at Thousand Pines. Did you know that if you let them, junior high school boys will stay up all night talking? These young men are on fire for God. They don’t know it, but they teach and inspire me more that I do them. I thought that these students wouldn’t want an old guy like me around, but they have been so welcoming and accepting. It has been very exciting watching as they grow and mature spiritually right before my eyes.
