“When I first came to CR 19 years ago, my finances were an absolute mess. I bought expensive items I couldn’t afford because they made me feel good. Fear was driving my toxic behavior. I bought something nice and I’d feel good, but I was giving up control of my life to that fear. With the help of Jesus, I now understand my emotions and where they’re coming from. It’s never fully gone away, but I’ve taken back control.”
