Active Duty Families

Purpose Statement

To support fellow military families serving our country in the armed forces.

The military asks those in their ranks for total commitment to protecting our country. Their commitment means demanding schedules and long deployments, impacting the service member and their families. Our mission is to help military families by providing a supportive community where they can receive help to bring hope, encouragement, and faith in God while facing difficult battles at home, and in defense of our country.

Related Ministries

We are a military outreach ministry that looks for ways to extend God's love to our military and their families whether they are as close as Camp Pendleton or as far away as Afghanistan. We feel responsible to honor those who serve in the armed forces defending our freedoms. We respond with acts of appreciation that include newborn baby baskets, goody bags to troops deployed around the globe, hosting deployment and welcome home events at Camp Pendleton, sponsoring retreats, and much, much more.

<p>Local PEACE gives the opportunity to demonstrate God’s love to our community through a variety of outreach ministries such as:<br> <ul style="padding-left:30px; "> <li > <span style="font-size: 1.25em; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">H</span>omeless</li> <li><span style="font-size: 1.25em; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">M</span>entoring & Homework Clubs</li> <li><span style="font-size: 1.25em; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">A</span>ctive Duty Military & Veterans</li> <li> <span style="font-size: 1.25em; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">L</span>oving undeserved communities</li> <li><span style="font-size: 1.25em; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">T</span>he elderly</li> <li><span style="font-size: 1.25em; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">A</span>dult & juvenile incarcerated</li> <li> <span style="font-size: 1.25em; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">A</span>rts</li> <li><span style="font-size: 1.25em; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">A</span>nime</li> <li><span style="font-size: 1.25em; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">R</span>ecycling for Bibles</li> </ul> Serve one time, or if you find something you’re passionate about, you can be involved on an ongoing basis. </p>

He built the Purpose Driven Network, a global alliance of pastors from 162 countries and hundreds of denominations who have been trained to be purpose driven churches. Pastor Warren and his wife Kay are passionate about global missions and what he calls “attacking the five global giants” of poverty, disease, spiritual emptiness, self-serving leadership, and illiteracy. His solution – The Peace Plan – is a massive effort to mobilize Christians around the world into an outreach effort to attack these five global giants of today by promoting reconciliation, equipping servant leaders, assisting the poor, caring for the sick, and educating the next generation.
