A GUIDED ARTS-BASED EXPERIENCE BASED ON EZEKIEL 37:1-14
SATURDAY, OCT 22, 10AM-12PM // SUNDAY, OCT 23, 2PM-6PM
In this unique workshop experience, you will get to explore what God is saying to you as you create something new with a creative and spiritual guide.
THEME: In Ezekiel 37:1-14 the LORD asks the prophet Ezekiel if he believes dry bones in a valley can be brought to life. Ezekiel wisely replies, “O LORD God, you know.” (37:3) The LORD proceeds to guide Ezekiel to prophesy over the bones and, piece-by-piece, the LORD restores them to life breathing the Spirit into them. The LORD speaks these amazing words, “I will put my Spirit within you and you will come to life.” This workshop will be an opportunity to reflect on the presence of the Spirit within you. Together we will read, listen, and create. Yes LORD, these bones can live!
THE MAKING: You will get to dive deeply into this passage is by making your own shadow box. This will be a double-layer work using an 11x14" wood panel, clear polyester film, your own image, and custom materials you will be instructed to bring back on day two.
MATERIALS: $35 cost covers materials of the shadowbox board, clearfilm, and markers. All basic materials will be provided and covered by your workshop fee.
REGISTER TODAY. Workshop is limited to 25 seats
Scholarships are available if you cannot afford the class materials cost. Just email SVA@saddleback.com to request.
