Saddleback Spreads Kindness

The world has a lot to say about kindness. It’s not uncommon to spot a t-shirt in a crowded place with some sort of slogan about being kind to one another. While there’s nothing wrong with promoting kindness through clothing, the Bible teaches us to clothe ourselves with kindness.

"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." – Colossians 3:12

Our church, along with the rest of the world, has endured a cold winter of pandemics, isolation, division, and now war in Ukraine, during which kindness seems to be in exceedingly short supply. As winter slowly gives way to spring, our world is in desperate need of more kindness. That’s why this season, we asked some of our Saddleback Church family members to share how kindness has changed their life. We pray this video inspires you to clothe yourself with kindness and spread God’s love everywhere you go.
