Pray for Ukraine

Join us in praying for Ukraine. The Saddleback Relief Team is in touch with local pastors in Ukraine and Poland who are asking for “prayer, prayer, prayer.”

Here’s how you can be praying:

• For people to know the love and hope of Jesus.
• Safe travel for the refugees
• Strength for parents (specifically mothers) and comfort for children and families
• Wisdom for the local churches and volunteer teams as they serve
• Courage for all the first responders and care givers who are sacrificing their lives on a daily basis to provide medical support
• Protection for the Ukrainian military and volunteer citizens as they defend their country.
• For the people of Russia and Belarus as they will be facing economic hardships brought on by harsh sanctions
• Wisdom for world leaders at NATO, EU, and USA to be united in their efforts to negotiate a peace agreement
• Peace and an immediate end to the war
• For the strength of churches caring for refugees 24 hours a day
• Security for Relief Teams serving on the ground alongside local churches
• For good health for both the refugees and volunteers serving the crisis, especially in the cold weather.
• The refugee children who are experiencing deep trauma from the disruption.
• The women and children who have left behind husbands, fathers, brothers and sons.
