Brain Injury Support Group

Purpose Statement
"Beyond All Brain Adversities" With the spiritual support of group leaders, and fellow members, we express our hope and faith in Jesus Christ. We pray together with our request for peace, wisdom, and understanding as we adapt to our changing lives. Jeremiah 29:11 We offer hope, support, empathy, education, and encouragement for rehabilitating brain injury survivors and their families from someone who has BEEN THERE and DONE THAT! "I can do all things with God who strengthens me" Philippians 4:313This Support Group is open to those who have suffered any type of brain injury (accident, stroke, concussion, tumor, etc.). Family members, loved ones, friends, and support people are also welcomed because this type of injury impacts everyone in the life of the person affected. The group provides love, support, encouragement, and information in an open share format. Most importantly, it is a home for you to be heard and valued. Meets on the first Saturday of the month from 10 am to 12 pm at Lake Forest and also available online. For questions and to reserve a place in the group, please reach out to the ministry contact.
