Good Works
Purpose Statement
The “Good Works Ministry” volunteers are the builders, makers and fixers of our church. This ministry is for, “Every skilled person to whom the Lord has given ability… and (or) who is willing to help build…” (Ex 36:1-2)As a group of volunteers, we meet regularly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the
church woodshop to get our hands on stuff and build things. Anyplace you stand on
campus you can see our handiwork including the hillside crosses, wood framing for the
“walk with Jesus,” the outdoor stage for the park venue, the PEACE center remodel
and collection centers and special holiday projects including the “light of the world” and
the snow ramps you may have enjoyed. In addition, we regularly build sets for
children’s and adult video productions. All skill levels are welcome. We are always
busy!
