Premarital Ministry
Purpose Statement
We help prepare engaged couples and those seriously considering engagement for a marriage based on Biblical principles. What to Expect:
Premarital Mentoring is approximately an 8 week study pairing a premarital couple with a married mentor couple. The study consists of the premarital couple reading and answering questions as homework prior to each session with their mentor couple. Study topics include biblical principles of marriage, communication, finances, extended family relationships, resolving conflict, forgiveness, the difference between men and women, personality differences, roles and responsibilities, needs and expectations, intimacy, affair proofing your marriage and more!
How to Begin:
Please contact Saddleback Church at least four months prior to your wedding. To begin the process, the bride and groom should each fill out the Online Questionnaire to help us get to know you both better. Once you have submitted this form on line, please contact Sue Blagg at sueb@saddleback.com or 949-609-8406. A welcome meeting will be scheduled to help you learn more about the process.
Saddleback Church attendance is not required to participate in premarital mentoring. The cost of the program is $100.00 for Saddleback Church members and $150.00 for non-members.
