Purpose Statement
To bring our first fruits of service in creating a distraction free environment where people can experience God clearly through Saddleback Church.
AUDIO TEAM
The audio team at Lake Forest supports services and events by ensuring the message of the gospel is amplified and heard clearly through worship music and biblical teaching. The team provides audio support in the form of audio mixing for the room, online & broadcasted streams, and in-ear monitor support for the worship team. They attend rehearsals, lead sound checks, communicate with different teams and juggle multiple cues throughout service following the direction of the Production Director. Opportunities to serve include supporting the team as an A2.
LIVE VIDEO TEAM
The video team at Lake Forest supports services and events by acting as the storytellers of our weekend service, delivering the images that pull God’s people into corporate worship. By creating artistically compelling and technically excellent video, they elevate Jesus Christ through live music and teaching. The video team supports services and events by capturing and delivering the message for not only the Lake Forest campus, but also the Online Community, reaching countless people around the world at 20 campuses across Southern California and internationally, and at over 30 extensions. Opportunities to serve include camera operation, lyric operation, Arena center screen operation, video engineering, directing and assistant directing.
LIGHTING TEAM
The lighting team at Lake Forest supports services and events by ensuring the delivery of the message of the gospel is clearly seen, while creating beautiful spaces of worship that reflect the throne room of heaven. The team provides visual support in the form of designing, implementing, programming and operating lighting and atmospheric elements to create spaces and enhance the worship experience. They attend rehearsals, give visual notes, communicate with different teams and juggle multiple cues throughout service following the direction of the Production Director. Opportunities to serve include lighting console operation.
STAGE AND DIRECTION TEAM
The stage & direction team at Lake Forest supports services and events by leading all elements of the service to create a distraction-free environment for worship. The team provides operational support in the form of guiding other team members through the order of service, shepherding team members to help them fulfill their roles and executing stage moves to deliver and receive props and set pieces. They attend rehearsals, deliver information, communicate with different teams and juggle multiple cues throughout service following the direction of the Production Director (or giving direction as the Production Director!). Opportunities to serve include stage management.
