Join Saddleback Dads for a family-friendly adventure at Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary! This event is perfect for dads with young kids who want to explore nature, learn about local wildlife, and enjoy some quality time outdoors. We’ll start the morning at Saddleback Church at 9:00 am for donuts and coffee before heading out together to Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary, where you and your kids can enjoy hiking trails, visit a small natural history museum, and explore the bird observation porch.
Event Schedule:
- 9:00 am: We'll gather at "Central Lot" which is one of the main parking lots close to Tent 2 and the Children's Ministry building. As you enter the Lake Forest campus from Portola Pkwy and go up Saddleback Pkwy it will be on your right-hand side. A campus map will be included in the registration confirmation email.
- 9:30 am: Depart for Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary.
- 10:00 am - 12:00 pm: Explore the sanctuary, including hiking trails, the museum, and more.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Sunscreen and hats for sun protection
- Light lunch for you and your kids
What We’ll Provide:
- Donuts and coffee at Saddleback Church
- Pouches, water bottles, and snack bars for you and the kids at the sanctuary

Additional Information:
This event is open to all dads and their young kids. No vehicle restrictions or clearance requirements—just come ready to enjoy a beautiful morning in nature. There is no need to return to Saddleback Church after the event.
Saddleback Dads is a community of fathers committed to growing spiritually and learning practical methods to become better dads. We meet weekly on Monday nights in the Plaza Room at 8:30 pm (after bedtime). We’d love for you to join us!
