Please join us for our Hope for Mental Health October Community Gathering

 At this month’s Hope for Mental Health Community, we’re excited to welcome Dr. Heather Huszti. 

Heather Huszti, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and chief psychologist at CHOC as well as the section chief for pediatric psychology. She also is the director of training for the Psychology Training Program at CHOC. She completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in family therapy from Texas Tech University and completed an internship and fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC). She was on faculty at OUHSC, where she was the director of the Pediatric Psychology Program. She joined CHOC in 2002.

Dr. Huszti will focus on mental health challenges of kids K-12 – especially as it relates to school and stressors in the classroom.  This will allow her to talk widely about children/teen mental health (depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, ADHD) and also bring in the services that CHOC offers to children/teens – their Aspire outpatient program and their newly added similar outpatient program for middle schoolers, along with CHOC's new crisis stabilization program for up to 4 sessions for kids in emergency situations. 

Please join us for a hope-filled afternoon on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, from 1-3 p.m. (PST) in the Plaza View Room at the Lake Forest campus of Saddleback Church.
