PRESS PLAY (SK Summer Blast) is Saddleback Church Hong Kong’s action-packed children summer VBS-style event of 2021! Our event will be conducted primarily in English.
It will run between July 28-30 (Wednesday to Friday), everyday 9am – 12:30pm. PRESS PLAY is for kids going into primary 1-6 in the upcoming academic year of 2021/2022, or aged 6- 11 years old (born between 2010-2015).
Included in the registration fee will be a themed T-shirt, daily snacks (if governmental regulations allow at the time of the event), takeaways, crazy games, epic worship, and wonderful teaching on knowing Jesus better and living that out in our daily lives.

Has your child expressed a desire to be baptized?
Saddleback Kids (SK) child baptism class is designed for kids in Primary 3–6 (~age 8-11) who want to know more about the following:
1) What does it mean to believe in Christ,
2) Why do we want to get baptized,
3) The difference between believing in Christ and baptism
This class is a prerequisite for your child to be baptized, and at least one parent must attend.
Q&A
Q: How do I know if my child is "ready" to be baptized?
A: During the Child Baptism Class, children will be taught about the meaning and differences between believing and baptism. At the end of the class, teacher of the class (usually SK Staff) will interview each child individually. The purpose of the short interview is to discern, spiritual and developmental, if the child is mature enough to understand the meaning of baptism.
We have baptized kids as young as 7 years old but also asked kids as old as 9 years old to wait on baptizing.
Q: My child is 7 years old and turning 8 very soon. Is my child likely to get an "OKAY" to be baptized after the class?
Which child is OKAY to get baptized is always determined on a case by case basis. It is determined on a variety of different factors. We usually ask kids to wait on baptizing if we are uncertain.
