Come join the men of Saddleback Church Laguna Woods on Thursday, September 8th, 9:00am, at 19 Restaurant in Laguna Woods Village as we fellowship, dine, and learn together at our monthly Men's Bible Study Breakfast. 

This month we invite both men and women to join us for an inspiring presentation by Steve and Joan Carman.

Steve, an Atheist, and Joan, a Jew, met at the University of California at Berkeley and married the summer before graduation. Their life changed dramatically in 1970 when they both had a dynamic encounter with God.

Steve worked on the Space Program leading many NASA projects. He trained the first astronauts on the Apollo Mission to the moon. He developed the medical experiments for Skylab. He led the science team on the first exploration of Mars and developed the cameras which took the pictures of that planet. His last assignment was as Project Manager on LCROSS which discovered water on the Moon.

Joan is a credentialed Minister with the Assemblies of God and served as Associate Pastor in Wilmington and Hawthorne. Steve wrote an autobiographical book, Quest, published by Tyndale House which relates the story of how an Atheist and a Jew came to know and serve God.
