    Description

“What do I do when my loved one doesn’t recognize they have a mental health challenge?” It can be one of the most difficult and painful aspects of the mental illness journey – to know there is support available and yet a family member cannot see that they need help.

BREATHE welcomes Dr. Xavier Amador, internationally renowned clinical psychologist and author of I Am Not Sick, I Don’t Need Help! His books, published clinical research, and extensive work in schizophrenia, bipolar and other disorders have been translated into 30 languages. He is also the founder of the LEAP Institute, the CEO of the Henry Amador Center on Anosognosia, and a family caregiver of two close relatives with serious mental illness. Dr. Amador brings his personal experience and his professional background to assist families with new approaches to supporting their loved ones living with mental illness.

Please join us Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 5:30PM (PT) for a free Zoom call with Dr. Amador.

    Warmly,

    Kay Warren
