Saddleback Berlin Launches Youth Ministry

"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6 (NIV)

As part of our Daring Faith campaign, we want to grow our church family by filling God’s house with 40,000 worshipers at our weekend services by the year 2020. Meeting this goal is not just limited to regional campuses and adults!

Getting in on the action is our Berlin campus, which proved it could help build God’s kingdom by launching a new Saddleback Youth Ministry (SYM). As part of the vision, Directors Hannes Ludewig and Sarah Keller coordinated a group of leaders to oversee the valuable student ministry.

For the official launch, both students and volunteers came together to celebrate what God is doing through Berlin’s youth. The fun-filled event featured music, food, games, and plenty of laughter.

Each week, they see the youth ministry grow as more kids discover the hope and love of Jesus Christ. According to Sarah, “As we dive deeper into God’s Word, it’s a joy to see the kids opening up to the leaders and to each other. The more we grow and experience life together, the more we will have great stories to tell!”
