A Vision for Saddleback San Diego

Saddleback’s desire to reach one more for Christ is hitting all corners of Southern California. A few weeks ago, more than 150 people gathered in Temecula to pray about possibly hosting a worship service in the future.

Two other locations are being considered, including Orange County Great Park and possibly a Saddleback Español campus. The big news is that our Pre-Launch Team just hosted their first informational meeting to share the vision for Saddleback San Diego.

On Monday, April 11, our team met with San Diego locals at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad to discuss possible locations, venues, timelines, and the next steps to meet this goal.

“I believe God has placed all of us exactly where we’re supposed to be for his purposes,” says Kyung Lee, Pastor of New Campus Launches. “God uses us to touch eternity and change cities. I believe God will do just that in San Diego with Saddleback.”

The first informational meeting gave community members an opportunity to discuss the possibility of launching a San Diego campus. In order for the vision to become reality, many details still need to fall into place, including finding a location, a facility, and a campus pastor.

Currently the search radius is centralized in and around the Carmel Valley area. Please continue to pray for God’s favor; that he will lead our church to the right location.
