Saddleback Extensions
Bring Saddleback To Your City
What if you could be a part of changing someone's life story and eternal destiny by simply hosting a gathering in your home or at a venue?
Our Volunteer-Led Saddleback Gatherings called Extensions help connect people to Jesus, Saddleback Church, and each other.
Will you help create a space where lives can be changed, burdens can be lifted, and hope can be found? Will you team up with us and "Bring Saddleback to your City?"

FAQs
What is an Extension?
- Saddleback Extensions are a group of people who meet in-person regularly to do church.
- By "regularly" we mean weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
- By "church" we mean watching the worship service together and having a focus on urgently leading people to say "yes" to Jesus and His purposes for their lives.
Why are Extensions important?
- Our Extensions are so important because people are so important to God! He created every person, died for every person, and has a purpose for every person. Even though all people are His creation, all people are not His children. His children are only those who have said "yes" to Jesus and His purposes for their lives.
- This is what our Extensions are all about... urgently leading people (in your community) to say "yes" to Jesus and His purposes for their lives.
When and Where do Extensions happen?
- You decide when and where your Extension will meet. Typically, Extensions gather on Sunday mornings to watch Saddleback's Online Worship Service. They'll do this weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly in a home or venue.
- Current venues look like *rented spaces such as corporate offices, hotel meeting rooms, and movie theaters. Some additional venues, like restaurants, coffee shops, and libraries, are also currently being used as locations. You could gather at a clubhouse, park, or basically anywhere you can envision doing church.
- *Saddleback does not provide funding
Who can start an Extension?
- You can if you're a Saddleback member who is imperfect, loves Jesus, and has a heart to reach others. A Saddleback member is someone who has trusted Jesus as their Savior, been baptized by immersion after salvation, completed Activate 1, and signed our membership covenant.
