Daily Hope Program Receives Billy Graham Award

Daily Hope, Pastor Rick’s daily audio teaching broadcast, has been awarded the Billy Graham Award for Excellence in Christian Communications.

Daily Hope, the Bible teaching media ministry of Pastor Rick, uses radio, podcast, and its website to send its messages around the world. The program gives hope to the hurting, encourages people to live purpose-driven lives, and equips churches and leaders.

Daily Hope focuses on airing Biblically sound teaching that shows how God’s eternal truth is relevant to all people everywhere in every time. Daily Hope uses several very effective forms of electronic communications to accomplish its mission:

• Terrestrial radio in the USA, Rwanda, Uganda, South Korea, and Ireland.

• Online via Rickwarren.org where over 700,000 people listen and share the Gospel message every month.

• Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.

Daily Hope also produces and distributes short inspirational videos to reach the lost and encourage the hurting and distributes these videos on social media. Recently, Daily Hope has also been working with the Abide Prayer App and YouVersion teams so the messages can be freely used for daily Scripture reading and audio prayers. Soon Daily Hope will deploy an immersive online experience in partnership with Facebook that will allow people to watch a sermon, study with a correlating small group curriculum, connect with others through an online community, and access extra resources – all through Facebook.

All of the Daily Hope electronic communications are done for the purpose of reaching the lost with hope we have in Christ and empowering and encouraging existing Christians to share the gospel with their unreached neighbors – whether their neighbors live in a remote village or just across the street.

Dr. Graham exemplified a commitment to excellence, creativity, and biblical fidelity in his use of electronic communications in furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Billy Graham Award for Excellence in Christian Communications is presented to a Christian organization that effectively and creatively uses multiple electronic media technologies in fulfillment of its mission, while maintaining fidelity to the message of love, redemption, and hope found in the Holy Scriptures.
