    Thank you, thank you, thank you for signing up  last weekend to help me with “Rick’s Team” — the new Saddleback social media outreach that I decided to start while preparing last week’s message. When I saw that you signed up to help, it made my day! Honestly, I can’t stop smiling as I think of the potential impact that this simple idea could have.

    As I said last weekend, we’re going to try thisas a 90-day Challenge. We’ll start the first week in October. I’ll send you something to post on your social media every day through New Year’s Day, so I’ll be in contact a lot.

    I’ve asked our Pastor of Communications,  Anthony Miller, to help organize us for the greatest impact possible. With each daily post (I’ll be posting too), we will all use the same#hashtagfor that day, and — if we all post around the same time — then that hashtag will likely be noticed as a “Trending” topic. That will amplify all of our voices together.

    While we are getting ready and preparing the content on our end,I need you to do two things:   

    1. Sign up to FOLLOW me and our church on these accounts:

If you arenotusing social media yet, that’s OK — just let us know and we’ll help you get set up. We are going to make sure you succeed at this.
