Bob Wood grew up in Southern California and brings over two decades of ministry experience. He is passionate about helping people take their next steps in following Jesus and building a strong, connected church community. Bob holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Organizational Leadership from Biola University and a Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry at Southeastern, focusing on developing missional leaders.
Bob and his wife, Karrie, began their spiritual journey at Saddleback Church over 30 years ago, where they served together with a shared heart for helping people feel seen, welcomed, and empowered to live out their faith. As the San Diego Campus Pastor, Bob is especially passionate about reaching the city with the hope of Jesus and building a vibrant, engaged church family that reflects the heart of God.
In their free time, Bob and Karrie enjoy traveling and creating memories with their family—son Jackson (18), daughter Miranda (22), and their two dogs, Milo the pug and Tucker the golden retriever. They especially love spending time outdoors, whether surfing, snowboarding, or simply enjoying the beauty of God’s creation.
