Saddleback Irvine South is moving!

In July 2022 we will have to evacuate our current leased building due to Condo development. So we’re going to pray and celebrate!

“Celebrate Home” is a 6 month long (January 2022 – June 2022) celebration of all that God has done here at 18842 Teller Avenue for the last 7 years.

In this blog of the same name “Celebrate Home”, I’ll be periodically sharing with you thoughts, calls to action, and updates on our move and new home search.

Why “Celebrate Home?”

“Celebrate Home” because God calls us to celebrate all that He has done in and through us.

“Celebrate Home” because home is what you and our current location have been for the last 7 years.

“Celebrate Home” because wherever the new location God guides and provides for us, will become our new home.

Call to Action: Please do three things in this campaign

Photo Op in the lobby. Take pictures with your family at the “Celebrate HOME” Photo Op in our lobby that will become part of a giant collage. If a pics team has taken your photo, you’re done!

Signature Wall in the worship center. Write down “I was saved here”, “I was baptized here”, “I found my way back to God here”, “I found my spiritual family here”, etc. and sign it.

Moving and Search Update:

• Our last day to evacuate our current building is July 31, 2022
• We will be organizing teams for the physical move and search
• We’re securing a temporary meeting worship space in Irvine to begin in July or August of 2022. Most likely a High School or Hotel.
• We’re searching for a new building and home in this search area: Jamboree to Barranca to Von Karmen to Main.
• We’ve put in a non-binding letter of intent on Jan. 25, 2022 to purchase a building in Irvine, waiting for owner’s response
• We’re searching and touring for temporary midweek office and ministry space in Irvine.
