Counseling Ministry
Purpose Statement
Saddleback Counseling Ministry provides an on-site safe and caring environment for individuals and married couples to discover Christ-centered answers to personal struggles and relational challenges. Our volunteer Church Counselors have gone through extensive biblically based counseling training and receive ongoing supervision, so they can help bring God’s truth, hope and healing to whatever situation the Counselee faces.FIRST STEPS FOR CARE:
If you are interested in getting more information about counseling care, call the Counseling Ministry Office: 949-609-8387 Monday through Friday between 8:30 am-5:00 pm. If you are calling after hours, please leave a message and your call will be returned on the next business day.
IF YOU ATTEND A REGIONAL CAMPUS:
While direct counseling care is not available at our regional campuses at this time, we recommend you reach out to your campus to obtain information on the variety of alternative types of care available, like Celebrate Recovery and Support Groups.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WHEN YOU CALL:
When you call, you will speak with a Counseling Coordinator. They will ask you some questions which will help to better understand your needs and to determine the best counseling recommendations. If you are recommended for counseling with one of our Church Counselors, then the Coordinator will get your scheduling and contact information. Once an opening becomes available, you will be called and offered the weekly appointment time as well as the start date for your weekly counseling appointments. There is no cost for counseling. The length of counseling is determined with your Counselor based on your particular needs, your growth and your ability to consistently attend. The Counseling Ministry considers it an honor to serve those in our church and community and we look forward to hearing from you.
