Families of children with special needs often experience crisis during the early days following diagnosis, and crises may recur periodically throughout the family’s life as children of any age encounter new challenges. This Support Group provides learning and mutual support opportunities to help families navigate from crisis to surviving to beginning to thrive to consistently thriving, the learning curve of life. With Christ at the center and using biblical tools & strategies, families can learn not just to survive, but to see God’s love and wisdom at work in and through their lives. Meets at Lake Forest on the last Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 8 pm. For location details and to reserve a place in the group, please reach out to the ministry contact.
