Purpose Statement
Ordinary people, empowered by God’s Spirit, doing what Jesus did, together, wherever they are.In this ministry, you have the opportunity to demonstrate God’s love through a variety of outreach ministries. Local PEACE works with the local community, whereas Global PEACE plans trips to serve and connect with churches in other countries.
The four main initiatives Local PEACE focuses on are Homelessness, Fatherlessness, Joblessness, and Disaster Relief. Saddleback members create ministries to build relationships with individuals who are affected by these issues within their communities. Outreach ministries outside of these initiatives are also welcomed.
Local and Global PEACE are church-wide ministries that recently launched at the LA Campus! Global PEACE is on their first missions trip to Manila, Philippines. Local PEACE is currently gathering members to make an impact in Los Angeles. We’ll partner with local churches in the community.
We need volunteers to join the team and be the hands and feet of Jesus. Our heart is to build relationships and become an outreach ministry that serves the community.
Related Ministries
We are a military outreach ministry that looks for ways to extend God's love to our military and their families whether they are as close as Camp Pendleton or as far away as Afghanistan. We feel responsible to honor those who serve in the armed forces defending our freedoms. We respond with acts of appreciation that include newborn baby baskets, goody bags to troops deployed around the globe, hosting deployment and welcome home events at Camp Pendleton, sponsoring retreats, and much, much more.
