A native of Southern California, Miguel Ramirez grew up in Santa Ana before moving to Santa Barbara for his bachelor's degree. He volunteered at Saddleback en Español from its early days in 2016 and even took a year off work to follow his calling there. Currently, he's completing his graduate studies at Gateway Seminary.
Miguel's passion lies in helping people connect with Jesus and belong to a church that feels like family. Being bilingual and of Latino heritage, he's focused on reaching multiple generations of Latinos with the message of Jesus' love. On weekends, he loves engaging with our local Spanish-speaking congregation on the patio.
When not engaged in pastoral duties, Miguel enjoys family time at the beach or at local parks with his wife Kristina, their two children, Logan and Aiden, as well as their three dogs.
