Prayer for Saddleback San Diego Campus
05/12/2016 .Saddleback San Diego Vision Meeting
Saddleback’s desire to fill God’s House with 40,000 worshipers made its way to San Diego last month, when over 70 locals gathered in Carlsbad to hear what God is doing to bring Saddleback to San Diego.
The first informational meeting, held at the Omni La Costa Resort, gave community members an opportunity to discuss possible locations, venues, timelines, and the next steps to meet this goal.
According to Kyung Lee, Pastor of New Campus Launches, the purpose of the meeting was to gather together to discuss information, increase ownership, and pray intentionally. Those who attended gave thanks for what God is doing and what he will continue to do through Saddleback San Diego.”
“We will find the right venue if we do not give up, says Kyung. “Saddleback San Diego will be a blessing not only to all of us, but also for the thousands that will find love, hope and Jesus because of its existence.”
The ideal location would be centralized around Highway 78 and 56 corridors, with at least 300 seats, 200 parking spaces, and four rooms for children’s ministry. The Pre-Campus Launch Team has already evaluated over 60 facilities including schools, colleges, event spaces, synagogues, and Seventh Day Adventist churches. Unfortunately, nothing has been just right.
“We will continue the search for Saddleback San Diego,” says Kyung, “––trusting in God’s perfect timing that he will guide us to the right location.”
