Dear Saddleback Family,
In last weekend's message, Pastor Tom taught six ways to worship Jesus this Christmas. As you go through your week, use the Message Action Plan below to help put the things you've learned into practice.

HOW TO WORSHIP THE SAVIOR
- 1. Start With a Sincere Desire
Magi from the east came to Jerusalem…
Tell God that you want the strength, hope, and comfort that only his presence can bring.
- Develop an Expectant Spirit
Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.
As you begin a time of worship, tell Jesus that you expect to meet him there!
- Choose to Express Joy
When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.
Thank God specifically for the things that bring joy into your life.
- Decide to Humble Yourself
On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him.
Take a moment to take in the fact that you are in the presence of the greatness of God.
- Plan to Give Gifts
Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.
What gift do you want to give Jesus this Christmas?
- End With an Obedient Response
And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.
Is there something that God prompted you to do as you worshipped? But you are the ones chosen by God… to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you.
