"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23 (NIV)
THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD.
I LACK NOTHING.
FOUR THINGS THE LORD DOES AS A SHEPHERD:
1) HE MAKES ME LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES.
ACTION PLAN: Carve out 15 minutes from this week's daily schedule to get away and be still and quiet. Think on the phrase from Psalm 23 "…for You are with me".
2) HE LEADS ME BESIDE QUIET WATERS.
ACTION PLAN: Take a walk outside at your favorite place at least 2 times this week. Think on the phrase "I will fear no evil" from Psalm 23 during your walk.
3) HE REFRESHES MY SOUL.
ACTION PLAN: Make sure to take your sabbath rest this week. Make it as important as your most important appointment this week.
4) HE GUIDES ME ALONG.
"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."Psalm 23:4 (NIV)

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley…
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me, in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life.
And I will dwell in Yahweh's house forever."
"When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit." Titus 3:4–5 (NLT)
