THE PRAYER JESUS PRAYED
- God wants you to give him glory.
ACTION PLAN: Paul directs us in 1 Corinthians 10:31 by saying that whatever we do we should do it for God's glory. This week, consider how the things you do, particularly in serving others, brings glory to God. Whether it's chores around the house, how you approach your work, anytime you're talking with others . . . it can all be done for God's glory. Give yourself reminders this week to remember that truth.
- God wants to give us unity.
- God wants to make you holy.
ACTION PLAN: John 17:17 says that we'll become holy, which also means to be set apart for God's purpose, by learning the words of truth that Jesus taught. This week, learn the words that Jesus taught this week by spending time in God's word every day. Since this is holy week, read Matthew, chapters 26 through 28, or engage with "Journey to the Resurrection" which can be found on the Saddleback app.
