"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other." John 13:34 (NLT)
Jesus MODELED love without CONDITIONS.
ACTION PLAN: When have you been shown conditional love? How about unconditional love? Write down and reflect on these situations. How did these situations impact you, and how did you incorporate that approach toward others in your own life?
"Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." 1 Corinthians 13:4–7 (NLT)
ACTION PLAN: List the various ways that Jesus' love differs from anyone else in your life. Take some time to think through what it would take for you to live that love for others. Pray and ask for help.
Unconditional love means removing the ASTERISK and replacing it with a PERIOD.

"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples." John 13:35 (NLT)
ACTION PLAN: After your cup has been filled with Jesus' unconditional love, which expressions of love need to change from asterisks to periods in your life? Ask God for wisdom on how to step into a fuller expression of no-strings-attached love for those in your life.
What is your next step today?"When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit." Titus 3:4–5 (NLT)
