"The Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14 (NIV)

ACTION PLAN: In your quiet time this week, think about the fullness of the Christmas story as seen throughout the Bible. Thank God for the good news that causes great joy.
WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT IT?
"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21 (NIV)
". . . The shepherds said to one another, 'Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.' So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child." Luke 2:15-17 (NIV)
- Come and See.
"God was in Christ, making peace between the world and himself. In Christ, God did not hold the world guilty of its sins. And he gave us this message of peace." 2 Corinthians 5:19(NCV)
- Go and Tell.
"Make the most of your chances to tell others the Good News." Colossians 4:5a (TLB)
See your importance.
"But how can people call for help if they don't know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven't heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them?" Romans 10:14 (MSG)
- Start Where You Are
"So we are Christ's ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, 'Come back to God!'" 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NLT)
- Say What you know.
"I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings." 1 Corinthians 9:23 (NLT)
