    1. ACCEPT THE LOVE OF THE FATHER

    "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (NLT)

    And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is.  Ephesians 3:17-18 (NLT)

    And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)

    THE SECRET IS: TRUST

    We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. Acts 24:14 (NIV)

    Jesus said to the people, "I am the Light of the world. So if you follow me, you won't be stumbling through the darkness, for living light will flood your path." John 8:12 (TLB)

    Then he said to the crowd, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross daily, and follow me. Luke 9:23 (NLT)

    THE SECRET IS: RELATIONSHIP

    , who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. 1 Corinthians 1:9 (NIV)

    "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45 (NLT)

    ACTION PLAN: Jesus calls us to release our own desires and let Him rule our lives. In your journal, spend time processing with the Lord what things you don't want to give Him control over. Write our your thoughts and then allow Him to speak to you as you reflect.

    3.RELY ON THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT

    I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, Ephesians 3:16 (NIV)

    I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead… Ephesians 1:19-20 (NLT)

    THE SECRET IS: WEAKNESS

    But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."                   2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NIV)

    He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:29-31 (NIV)

    ACTION PLAN: Start a gratitude journal where you list all of the things that you saw God do in your life at the end of each day. Be intentional in recognizing the things that you could not do on your own power and praise God for His provision.
