Sometimes there's joy in discovery.
Sometimes there's grief in discovery.
Sometimes we discover things that we are intentionally searching for.
Sometimes we discover things that we just stumble upon.
You don't necessarily have to be seeking God for him to find YOU.
God likes to use unlikely people.

When you discover something about God…
1. Respond to what was revealed.
ACTION PLAN: What was the last revelation from God to you? Think back to what he wanted you to do that you haven't done yet. Take that step of obedience to trust him with your finances, join a small group, begin to serve at the church, make a daily quiet time more of a habit, etc. To prepare you to celebrate Christmas, read the second chapter of Luke this week. Think about the titles that Jesus was given in verse eleven and how he has revealed himself to you as Savior, Christ, and Lord. Thank him for coming to earth to be your Savior, your Christ, and your Lord.
2. Spread the Good News.
3. Worship out of the overflow.
ACTION PLAN: What have you seen God do? Has he brought reconciliation between you and another person? Has he delivered you from sins that were keeping you in a personal prison? Has he healed you or someone that you love from an illness? Whatever you have seen him do, carry that with you as you glorify and praise God for all the things that you have heard and seen (Luke 2:20). When you sing Christmas carols this week, remember everything he has done for you!
