ACTION PLAN: How big are your dreams for God's work in/through your life?  Are your dreams both expectant and world-changing?  What verses in the Bible are they based on?  List out the promises in God's Word that you'll need God to fulfill in order make it happen.

5 REASONS THIS CHURCH IS GUARANTEED TO SUCCEED

1. DOING GOD'S WORD WILL BE OUR FOUNDATION.

"God says 'My Word comes out of my mouth and it will NOT FAIL to do what I intend for it to do! It will accomplish everything I desire and it will succeed in the purpose for which I sent it.'" Isaiah 55:11

"Don't deceive yourselves by just listening to the Word. DO what it says!  ... If you keep looking steadily into God's Word that sets you free and if you DO what it says and you don't forget what you heard, then God will bless you in ALL you do!"             James 1:25

"Think about this Book day and night so that you learn to DO everything  written in it. THEN you'll prosper and succeed in whatever you do."              Joshua 1:8

2. FULFILLING GOD'S PURPOSES WILL BE OUR PLAN.

3.  TRUSTING GOD'S PROMISES WILL BE OUR CONFIDENCE.   

"I tell you the truth: Anyone who trusts in me will be able to do even greater works than what I've done, because I'm going to the Father, and I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that I, the Son, may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!"                                                                             John 14:12–14

"God, by his mighty power at work within us, is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of — infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes."      Ephesians 3:20

"We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ. It is NOT that we think WE can do anything of lasting value by ourselves. Our only power and success come from God."  2 Corinthians 3:4–5  

ACTION PLAN: Practice memorizing Ephesians 3:20. Say it every morning this week.

4.  DEPENDING ON GOD'S SPIRIT WILL BE OUR STRENGTH.

"God opposes the proud but He gives grace to the humble." James 4:6

"If you humble yourselves under God's mighty hand, He will lift you up in his own good time."                                         1 Peter 5:6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. In everything you do, put God first, and he'll direct you and crown your efforts with success."   Proverbs 3:5–6

"If you look to God for help, and seek His favor, and keep yourself pure and live with integrity, God will rouse himself on your behalf … And though you started with little, you'll end up with much!"         Job 8:5–7

"But I am confident of this, that He who began this good work in youwill carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus!" Philippians 1:6

5.  LOVING GOD AND PEOPLE WILL BE OUR ATTRACTION.

"Everything you do must be done with love!"           1 Corinthians 16:14

"Love is more important than anything else."          Colossians 3:14

"Be full of love for others, following the example of Christ who loved you and gave himself as a sacrifice to take away your sins."  Ephesians 5:2

"Love never gives up! Love never loses faith!  Love is always hopeful! Love endures through every circumstance! And LOVE NEVER FAILS!"  1 Corinthians 13:7–8

ACTION PLAN: We are meant to live lives of love to others. How do we do this? Begin with a deep knowing of God's love for us. Set aside 10-15 minutes sometime this week to walk through THIS REFLECTION on God's love and goodness for us.
