    Will Guzman | August 1, 2021

    Message Action Plan

    Matthew 14:13-20 (NIV)

"When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick." Matthew 14:13-14 (NIV)

"As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, 'This is a remote place, and it's already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.'" Matthew 14:15 (NIV)

"Jesus replied, 'They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.'" Matthew 14:16 (NIV)

"'We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,' they answered." Matthew 14:17 (NIV)

"'Bring them here to me,' he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, . . ." Matthew 14:18-20 (NIV)

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask for imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)

THERE IS MORE POTENTIALIN YOU, THAN THERE ARE LIMITATIONS.

OUR LACK OF RESOURCES IN THE HANDS OF JESUS TRANSFORMS INTO AN ABUNDANCE.

    1. HE GAVE THANKS.

". . . Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks ... "Matthew 14:19 (NIV)

ONE OF THE GREATEST REALIZATIONS YOU CAN HAVE ABOUT YOUR LIFE, IS THE REALIZATION THAT YOU ARE BLESSED.

"For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord."Proverbs 8:35 (NIV)

ACTION POINT: Even in the things you currently lack ,what can you be thankful for? Take some time to list out the ways you have been blessed, then remember to thank God every day this week for everything that list.

    2. HE BROKE THE BREAD

    ". . . and broke the loaves."Matthew 14:19 (NIV)

WHEN WE AVOID TIMES OF BROKENESS, WE WILL AVOID THE PAIN, BUT WE WILL ALSO MISS THE GROWTH

ACTION POINT: What easy road have you been taking to try and solve or avoid and problem? What do you fear will happen if you face that problem? Plan out this week how you can address that problem.

    3. HE GAVETHE BREAD

"They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children."Matthew 14:20-21 (NIV)

"The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it."1 Thessalonians 5:24 (NIV)
