Praying for Relational Breakthrough:
- Bring the right problem to the right person.
ACTION PLAN: Who do you need to talk to one-on-one about an offense? Would that conversation be at risk of becoming heated? Write out the most gentle and direct description of your hurts and feedback. Pray and ask God for wisdom and discernment of what to say and when might be a good time to have the conversation.
- Be open to a new perspective.
- Begin my approach with prayer.
- Move in the direction of your prayers.
ACTION PLAN: Check the weather and plan a walking prayer time this week. While moving, focus on what it is God is asking you to do. Ask Him to show you your next steps in growing your relationship with Him and with others. Talk about your hopes and concerns. Ask for wisdom.
