Until a problem touches my heart it won't hit my hands.
Three Steps to Go From Dream to Decision:
- Pray
- God's dreams start, continue, and finish with prayer.
- A dream without prayer can become a nightmare!
ACTION PLAN: Make a list of specific prayer requests about the dream God has put on your heart. Don't ask vaguely, but ask God for specific goals and objectives that will surpass your expectations.
- Plan
- A dream without a plan is a wish.
ACTION PLAN: Think about the different mentors and supporters in your life. Pray daily that God would put one on your heart to share your dream with. Once God puts someone on your heart, schedule a meeting with that person and ask for their insight and help in creating a plan.
- Do
A dream without execution becomes hallucination.
What has God already placed into your hands?
ACTION PLAN: Remember the words of Isaiah 6:8 - "And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here I am! Send me." In a journal, write out the different areas of passion and opportunity that God has put in your life to use in his dream for your life. These can be different ministry opportunities, entrepreneurial endeavors, or even relationships where God wants to do some work! After writing about them, pray and invite God to lead you in those areas, being obedient to whatever He wants you to do.
