    Representing Jesus And His Kingdom

    Dr. Ed Stetzer | January 21, 2018

How do we represent Jesus and love like him in a fractured world? In this message at Saddleback Church, guest speaker Dr. Ed Stetzer shares four answers to those questions by examining God’s Word. You’ll learn how to get a new perspective, live on a mission of reconciliation, represent Jesus and his kingdom, and see people through his lens. Discover how to live as an ambassador for Christ and recognize that it all comes down to what Jesus did for us on the cross.

    Message Action Plan

    Message Action Plan

    1. We get a new perspective

Action Plan:  When you interact with a person that you don’t necessarily like or get along with, do you find yourself judging that person? Only see negative traits?  Make it a point this week to intentionally consider how you think of people and try to catch yourself if you immediately jump to a negative view.

    1. Sent on a mission of reconciliation

Action Plan: If you have been struggling with relational issues, now is the time to seek help to navigate reconciliation. Consider going to Saddleback’s free counseling ministry to work with somebody on how to overcome relational obstacles in your life. Click here for more information.

    1. Representing Jesus and His Kingdom

Action Plan:  When’s the last time you stood in front of a mirror and just looked at yourself. Try looking in the mirror and think about the way God sees you – as his son or daughter. Then think about how others see you. Do you think they see you as a son or daughter of God? Journal about this experience and share it with a friend.

    1. because of the cross
