    Message Action Plan

    Dear Saddleback Family,
Use the Message Action Plan below to help put the things you learned this weekend into practice. If you missed last weekend's message, click here to watch it online.

    You Can Find Your Way
    Pastor Ryan Leak
    September 28-29, 2024

     Scriptures Used
Psalm 23:1-3 (ESV); Proverbs 27:12 (NIV); 1 Kings 11:1-8 (ESV); Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT); Psalm 119:105 (ESV); Luke 6:12-13a  (ESV)

     Message Notes:

    1. Finding your way requires self-awareness.
    2. Finding your way requires action.

The enemy of wisdom isn’t stupidity, it is rationalization.

If you want to start making better decisions, just start by making one.

    1. Finding your way requires surrender.

We make time for the things we value the most.

What has whatever we’ve given the most of your time to, done for you lately?

If we give God our attention, he’ll give us his direction.

INDIVIDUAL ACTION PLAN: For this week, choose something that you regularly engage with and try replacing it with reading your Bible. That could be tv, social media, a different hobby, or something of the like. Consider using the YouVersion Bible App and choose a short-term plan to complete this week.

FAMILY ACTION PLAN: When do you read the Bible and pray together as a family? If you don’t have a rhythm, consider doing Breakfast and Bible and read a chapter or story together as a family. Consider making a prayer request and gratitude list together with your kids to pray through every morning or evening. You show your kids the importance of making time for God when you make time for God with them.
